The Home:
Our
home is an old country house dating back to the 1700's. It has been completely
restructured with all the amenities and comforts.
Surrounded by greenery of the Chianti area, not far from Siena - the city of
the "Palio".
It has three bedrooms (two of which lead to a private bathroom), three bathrooms, studio (with a double sofa-bed), kitchen, a dining room, bar, fireplace and much more. All of this on three levels. Total area 200 square meters. The inside of the home is very well detail with many available accessories: T.V, microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, air conditioning and heating.
It is about 10 km. from Siena's center. Siena is famous for the yearly "Palio" and has one of the most beautiful towns square in the world.
Chianti woods surround the house.
There are fields of olive trees and grape vines all around.
You can easily sunbathe in privacy in your own garden, which has over 2000 square meters,......
........... and have a bathe in the private swimming pool.(11.0x5.5x1.20)
or sip tea
in the green house (veranda).
Silence...relax...a small lake...
The
Neighbourhood:
Siena
center is approximately 10 km from us.
In between the hills you can observe the famous tower "Mangia".
It is a medieval city with plenty artistic characteristics.
Twice a year there is the "Palio delle Contrade". People from around the world visit Siena year round. Many interesting, artistic, and natural beauties which can be found.
Our home is surrounded by the wine grapes of Chianti and is next to many famous farms where you can taste and purchase precious wines.
You can learn about the products typically found in this area.
It is a good starting point for excursions around the green Tuscany areas.
FLORENCE is approximately 70 km away and is easily accessible by motorway.
It is the nearest International Airport with Pisa Airport.

Other Information:
On
the first floor there is a nice living room
(Seating for six people) with a fireplace and
bar:
This room is refreshing and comfortable during the summer and warm and cosy during the winter.
It is very accessible to the greenhouse:
Travelling up wooden stairs you can find the second floor
which also has
independent entrances. 
There is a kitchen equipped with microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer. (Seating for six people)
On the same floor there is a bathroom (with toilet, wash basin and shower) and ...............
a double master bedroom.
Continuing up the wooden stairs to the third floor you will find another master bedroom
with its own bathroom containing a large tub, a shower and two wash basins.
The other rooms:
a bed room also with an independent bathroom (only slightly smaller) containing a shower, toilet, and wash basin, and service.
....... and a studio with a very comfortable double sofà-bed
This floor is air-conditioned.
This is
our second house and until recently our family lived here.
The entire
(850sq) building is
currently divided into two independent homes (see floor
plans):
(1)
our
home (light
brown)
as it has been previously described fully available to the guests, and
(2) another home (green)
where live the Claudio's sister.
(Each
part has own private and exclusive network, garden, gate, entrance, pool, etc.).
Non-smoking is preferred inside
the home.
(but there is ample room outside to enjoy a smoke).
The house can easily host 8 persons, but we prefer to offer it for 4/5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children, so it is very comfortable.
In the immediate area you can find:
- horse-back riding, tennis, cycling andwalking areas.
- tour flights over Siena with privately piloted planes.
- a policlinic hospital
- the famous University of Siena.
